Eat Drink and Be Merry

Greys first Christmas!! We tried to keep this low key also. We just spent Christmas Eve with Tommy's family at his moms house. She made an amazing Italian Christmas eve dinner. So many cookies that Jaynie, Evan Taylor and I decorated (was so busy talking I didnt get pictures). Desert at my mother In-law's house is actually insane. She is such a great cook and a baker, I cant even handle it. Greyson got to see his uncles and aunts again. He loves them! On christmas day we opened gifts, Grey got an awesome speedster from Land of Nod-Land of Nod Speedster, some cute wooden toys we wanted, an adorable rhino rocker.We then went to my sister Nancys house and spent the day and night with my family. Which was also very chill, awesome food and lots of laughs. Greyson thoroughly enjoyed himself lol He also got an awesome Chair from Pottery Barn Kids-My First Chair.

Thanksgiving 2014

This year we were invited to my sister Tara's Mother in-law's house for Thanksgiving. We really enjoyed ourselves. The food was AMAZING and of course it was Greysons first, so we were wrapped up in him. It was very chill, no big to-do. Roasted Chestnuts, wine, homemade hummus (YUM) and the turkey was PERF. I wasn't feeling so well myself but made the best of it.

Boo.

So I'm trying to catch up, AGAIN. Life has just been getting in the way of this blog. Better late than never. right?

Halloween 2014.
We decided to dress Grey up as Charlie Brown. Super cute! We just went around our complex and stopped at like 10 houses. It was cold. All the older women loved him, obviously. And I'm thinking back to our last Halloween and I'm really missing one of our neighbors. She was an older woman and she was the sweetest lady EVER. I used to help her carry laundry up her stairs and into her house. She would put notes in my door with money for Greyson. But last Halloween, I was pregnant and she came to my door in the Scream Ghost face mask and scared the crap out of me. Stupidly I opened the door and she creepily said "guess who"??? and I almost punched her.. LOL. But then she revealed herself and I let her know that she almost was knocked out. She couldnt help but laugh with me. ( One of those you had to be there kind of moments, I'm good for telling those)

Well as for the costume, I had a hand me down yellow polo onesie that I sharpied the zig zag on and little brown shorts and shoes. I used eyeliner to draw the curl on his head. It was perfect.

I also added a drawing of Snoopy on his stroller to help the new souls...lol.
And of course, I was a broken porcelain doll, and Tommy, well he was himself.

So I entered a contest with JJCole to win a bundle me and I was a winner!! Well we are absolutely in love with this amazing product. Its like the coziest blanket that stays in your car seat or stroller. It zips up over your child so they stay warm during the colder seasons. It has slots for the car seat straps  and it just easily wraps around the back just as the liner of your car seat would. And luckily they gave us a gray one which made me so happy ! And considering I never won anything before I was so excited. But I highly recommend this product to all parents. It eliminates the need for a bulky coat on your infant! I'm absolutely obsessed with it. And it will most definitely be a product that I buy for the next baby shower I go to.
